Carol Gaylor"Deja Blue"
Carol
Gaylor is a veteran Washington, DC area performer. Recently, she has
moved her focus away from cover music and more toward writing and
performing her own songs. Carol was awarded a Silver prize and two
honorable mentions in this year's Mid-Atlantic songwriter's contest for
one of her songs, and another one of her originals, co-written with
fellow diva, Danielle Westphal, also received a finalist ranking. Carol
continues to perform in and around the Washington, DC area and plans to
release her 4th CD before the end of 2004.

Danielle Westphal"In the Stars"
Danielle Westphal grew up
in the DC area and credits her musical performance start to her days at
Alexandria's own T.C. Williams High School. Currently she
headlines such well-known venues as Blues Alley in DC, the Millennium
Stage at the Kennedy Center and has performed twice for receptions at
the White House. She continues to write original songs which
she'll be singing tonight. In addition to performing and
producing shows with Annie, she is now co-producing a songwriters'
showcase called Nashville Connections at Blues Alley with Katherine
Queen and Ken Giese. She's working on finishing her all originals CD as
a follow-up to her jazz standards CD - entitled High Standards,
produced with Dan Reynolds. She loves her weekly regular gigs
around town and almost never turns down any chance to sing! |

Indigo "My Funny Valentine"
Native
Washingtonian Indigo has been thrilling audiences locally for the past
13 years. Her voice has been described as "easily captivating and able
to capture the audience with her extraordinary talent, honest emotions
and flawless delivery." Her
performances include tributes to Duke Ellington, Billy Holiday, and
Ella Fitzgerald. Additionally, Indigo has performed at The Kennedy
Center, The Carter Baron Amphitheater, Twins Jazz Lounge and most
recently Washington, D.C.'s famous Blues Alley also the Corcoran
Gallery of Art as a founding member of the Jazz-Gospel Ensemble, and
has earned several opportunities to share the stage with Artists such
as: Pieces Of Dream, Joyce Cooling, Paul Taylor, Angela Bofill, Peabo
Bryson, Miki Howard, Roy Ayers and others.

Melanie Mason "Work Your Magic"
Described
by DownBeat magazine as "a promising guitarist and songwriter," Melanie
Mason performs blues-rock as a lead electric guitarist, vocalist and
songwriter for the Melanie Mason Band. She also records traditional
acoustic blues as a solo artist. In 2003, Mason's band won the D.C.
Blues Society's International Blues Challenge Band competition. Other
past highlights for Mason include opening for legends such as Robert
Cray, Don McLean and Rory Block, as well as appearing in a series of
Emmy award-winning blues guitar WETA-TV ads to promote Martin
Scorsese's "The Blues" PBS film series. Mason's discography includes
the WAMMIE award-winning Bendin' the Blues and her latest release,
Lonesome Is I, a solo acoustic album recorded by Chris Biondo, producer
for the late Eva Cassidy

Annie Sidley "Don't Want to Open My Eyes"
This
multi-WAMMIE nominated artist has toured nationally and soon
internationally and has shared the stage with Joan Jett, WAR, our very
own Chuck Brown, Joyce Cooling, Paul Taylor and many more. She's sung
the Star Spangled Banner for the NBA and WNBA games at the MCI Center
over and half a dozen times. This mother of 3 boys and soon 3 cd's (her
new one's coming out next spring) is going to shake this joint
up! Debuting her music from her next cd "Diamond in
the Sand"
