Danielle
Westphal and Ken Giese invite you to experience
the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of Nashville's
famed Bluebird Café right here at Blues Alley in
Georgetown. This unique, multi-genre night of
music connects Billboard chart-topping songwriters
from Nashville with popular Washington DC
singer/songwriters. The first show was in June of
2004 and the second in this series took place
February 21, 2005. Click links on the left to see

With
her smooth, rich, and clear voice, Danielle
Westphal has established herself as a popular and
entertaining vocalist. Her list of accomplishments
includes performing twice at the White House for
receptions for President and Mrs. Clinton,
performing on the former Presidential Yacht
Sequoia, singing in popular clubs in Paris,
France, and performing with her jazz trio on the
Millennium Stage at the Kennedy
Center.
Danielle co-produced and starred in
Divas of DC in 2003 and 2004. This is the second
Nashville Connections show she and co-producer,
Ken Giese, have organized. The first was a huge
success and took place at Blues Alley in June of
2004.
Ken Giese is a veteran
singer/songwriter with over 100 songs to his
credit. He is lead singer and guitarist for the
Idle Time Band which has been playing in the
Washington DC metro area for over 20
years.
Ken was the stage manager for the
Divas of DC concerts in 2003 and 2004. His band
(along with co-producer Danielle Westphal)
performed last year for the Patsy Cline tribute in
Winchester, Virginia. |
